WHS Library Mezzanine
Miller-Driscoll welcomed hundreds of people who took time out of their Saturday morning on November 18, 2017 to stop by and see the newly renovated school.
Visitors were greeted by Wilton Public Schools Superintendent Kevin Smith, Principal Kathy Coon and Assistant Principals Jeremy Cross and Janean Carley.
Young families, seniors, former MD students, town officials, business owners,
new residents, long-time residents and even future residents
were among those who strolled the hallways while chatting with
MD staff and Board of Education members who were stationed throughout the building.

Light, Bright and Rooftop Kites
The Miller-Driscoll Building Project draws to a close as Wilton's
newly renovated Pre-K - Grade 2 school opens its doors for the 2017-2018 school year
Colorful rooftop "kites" rise above each core area of Miller-Driscoll School
The school has been transformed from an aged, dark, difficult-to-navigate building with a history of leaks and inefficient and noisy heating & cooling system, that lacked fire safety and security features, efficient traffic flow--and more--into a modern, light-filled, colorful, code compliant, sound and comfortable K-2 and Early Learning Center/Pre-K with safer drop off/pick up areas, improved site circulation--and more.
View the Renovation Recap for a synopsis of improvements and changes made to the building and grounds and Photos (separate tabs for K-2 and Early Learning Center/Pre-K) for a look at the end result.
